ALL- QWC (Quality Written Communication)

Quality Written Communication (QWC). That's the thing that the exam board who sets the maths GCSE say Wyvern pupils are not always very good at. It's all about laying out your calculations clearly and using the correct maths language to describe your solutions.

Check out this fantastic piece of angle facts work which shows excellent Quality Written Communication. Notice how they've used the correct angle language, drawn their diagrams neatly and shown their workings. This is a fabulous piece of work :-)

Lots of students can solve exam questions, getting the right answer but lose marks in an exam because they don't show their workings and can't use the correct maths language to describe their solutions. Isn't it sad that they can work out the right answer but don't get all the marks?!! Don't be one of those pupils!

Please concentrate on improving your QWC this year to make sure you get the marks you deserve in your exams!
